This Old Tree Service Truck Was Brought Back To Life

Joseph Coupal - Wednesday, May 02, 2018

When I was a kid I loved the smell of gas pumping into my daddy’s old ford pickup. Every time I’d hang my head out the window he’d yell at me to get back in and roll the window up. I’d do what he said, but by that time the truck was full of that wonderful scent! I don’t recall my dad every owning a Chevy, except for his 1969 Corvette and that puppy was my favorite! He owned many old classics and was always dragging me into helping him restore them. He would love this old tree service truck and definitely would love to bring something like this back to life. I plan on buying and restoring a 1957 Chevrolet 3100 Stepside, and when I do I’m turning to my buddies at Truck Buyer USA to help me locate the perfect project. We buy trucks so if you have my fixer upper, sell your truck quick to these guys so I can take it off their hands! You can get a high an instant cash offer and it’ll be the most you’ll hear anywhere!

Now, about Cliff Carol’s $700 1968 Chevrolet C-10 project!

After purchasing the truck his intentions were to restore it and then hot-rod it up to give himself a power-packed ride; but as family life would get in the way of his big plans, it became his main ride for work.

“Like most of us find out, building a truck while working, paying a mortgage, and raising two kids is not easy. So after coming apart the only thing I could do was stuff that didn't cost any money," ~Cliff

Cliff accepted it would take some time to get his truck like he wanted it and over the years did all the “free work” – A.K.A. his own labor – and worked at restoring his ride.

"That cab was on and off so many times my neighbors stopped answering the phone on Sundays! I always had them lifting or doing something," ~Cliff

The inspiration for the motor is an LS1 he pulled from a 2004 GTO with low miles. Then he painted it the same color I want my Chevy, orange! This truck has a six-speed transmission and a front suspension is a Fatman crossmember with tubular A-arms.

Today Cliff enjoys his gorgeous C10 truck that he’s owned for more than 15-years and as of April 2017, he’d added over 4,000 miles since early 2017. This once blue-collar workhorse is a beauty and one I’d take in a heartbeat! Hey Cliff! Sell your truck to me! [*cough] I mean at TruckBuyerUSA.com we buy trucks in any condition, running or not, in need of mechanical repairs or bodywork, and those that need a little cleaning up.

If you need to sell your truck quick or not so quick, get the highest instant cash offer you’ll find anywhere else today! Fill out our FAST, SAFE, and EASY 2-STEP PROCESS form and find out your real truck worth in as little as 20-seconds right now! If you like the offer, we’ll take it from there. Really! 30 MPG Highway – 2019 Ford F-150 Limited Power Stroke Diesel – Revised Styling similar to Ram and Chevy

Joseph Coupal - Friday, April 20, 2018

Every year there seems to be some room to add luxury to the top of the line trucks, and the 2019 Ford F-150 Limited Power Stroke Diesel is up there holding its own. Ford has added some features that will make any diehard Ram or Chevy loyalist turn their heads and think, “Should I sell my truck quick and go for the 30 mpg highway? The revised bumper style does look good. Nah! It’s a 2-wheel drive!” Once you go 4-wheel, is there ever any going back? If you want to sell your truck quick and get the highest ICO you will find anywhere, get an instant cash offer from us in about 20-seconds. We buy trucks FAST!

Ford made some announcements earlier in 2018 it would be introducing the newly redesigned F-150 promising a 250 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque, the best towing and fuel economy. The styling changes are minor, but notable ones that are making it buzz throughout the truck industry.

  1. There’s more chrome
  2. Similar bumper styling as the Ram and Chevy
  3. Best-in-class fuel economy rating for a 2-wheel drive truck – 30-mpg highway
  4. Best-in-class towing
  5. 250 horsepower
  6. 440 lb-ft torque

"Even a few years ago, customers wouldn't have imagined an EPA-estimated rating of 30 mpg highway would be possible in a full-size pickup, but our team of crazy-smart engineers rose to the challenge," ~Hau Thai-Tang, Ford Head of Product Development

With the EPA has giving the 2019 F-150 Power Stroke Diesel a 22/30 mpg city/highway rating, making its combined 25 mpg rating, it can definitely make a driver want to sell his truck. The F-150’s new rating puts it in the lead ahead of the EcoDiesel Ram 1500’s 20/27/23 mpg rating. The 2019 F-150 is the first full-sized truck to garner a 30 mpg highway rating.

That’s pretty impressive, right? Makes you want to sell your truck quick and save money on gas now, right? We hear you! That’s why we buy trucks and make it FAST, SAFE, and EASY for you! Our short form is well, short and only a 2-step process to get you the highest instant cash offer available. Our patent pending formula calculates in around 20-seconds. It turns “sell my truck quick” into FAST CASH IN THE BANK! Don’t wait another second! Get your ICO NOW!

RECALL – Ford Expedition & F-150 Have Issues – Parked Vehicles without Keys In Ignition Move On Their Own

Joseph Coupal - Friday, April 13, 2018

Ford has done it again and it’s time for a recall. The Expedition and F-150 transmission gears have issues that cause a parked vehicle, with the keys in the ignition, to move on its own. How crazy is that? I had my own incident with a brand new Ford Thunderbird back in the mid-80s and since that day, I have only owned one Ford. I just don’t trust it will do what it’s built to do so I’m weary of them.

Ford recalls about 350,000 F-150s and Expeditions for faulty transmission gears from CNBC

I was sure my issues were electrical until I heard about this latest recall, and honestly, I don’t care how much I loved my F-150, I’d be looking to sell my truck. That’s how bad my experience scared me. My car literally accelerated with both my feet pressing hard on the brake pedal, in traffic no less! I came so close to slamming into a CDTA bus and the cars behind me would have definitely hit me from the rear and very possibly the driver’s side. I thought it was an electrical malfunction, because when I turned off the heat, directional, and radio I had control of it again. Now, I’m rethinking it and suggesting you get an instant cash offer from us and sell your truck or SUV. Let us worry about the recall.

After my incident, when my workday ended I headed straight back to where I’d made my purchase and got rid of it. No one believed the story I had and they just chalked it up to “I was sliding on an icy road”, but that wasn’t true. It had a mind of its own that day.

Today I see a recall on approximately 350,000 vehicles because of faulty transmission gears. It applies to Ford’s 2018 F-150 pickup trucks and their Expedition SUVs models. The issue in question is when a driver puts the SUV or truck in park and remove the keys from the ignition, some of the vehicles actually move. To top this off there’s been one accident resulting in injury reported and this recall comes on top of another similar transmission problem that affects other 2017 and 2018 models – F-150s, Expeditions, Lincoln Navigators, and Mustangs.

All Vehicle Models in Recall – (note you will see additional models)

  • 2018 Ford F-150 vehicles built at the Dearborn Assembly Plant from January 5, 2017, to February 16, 2018
  • 2018 Ford F-150 vehicles built at the Kansas City Assembly Plant from January 25, 2017, to February 16, 2018
  • 2018 Ford Expedition vehicles built at the Kentucky Truck Plant from April 3, 2017, to January 30, 2018
  • 2018 Ford F-650 and F-750 vehicles built at the Ohio Assembly Plant from April 25, 2017, to March 9, 2018

The culprit causing all these dangerous “moving on its own” issues, is possibly a missing transmission roll pin causing some of their models to not shift into park successfully, or a gear shift cable clip that may come loose causing the same result. Can you believe it boils down to a pin or a clip?

If you’re the owner of either of these 2018 models, take it to a certified Ford mechanic at a dealer for a free inspection and any needed repairs, which are also free. What would I do, based on my personal experience in the mid-80s? Tell you to sell your truck! Now!

We buy trucks in any condition, recalls included! Here’s more good news, we’ll come to you and take your defective vehicle, what I refer to as a damaged truck, so you don’t need to drive to us! You can find out your truck worth right now and get an instant cash offer by filling out our short form. It’s literally a simple 2-step process and the offer takes as little as 20-seconds. Now that’s FAST, SAFE, and EASY! Why worry yourself that your parked truck or SUV, without the keys in the ignition by the way, will move on its own? Don’t risk injury to yourself or others. Sell your truck to TruckBuyerUSA.com and we’ll take the dangerous risks away! We buy trucks anywhere in the Continental U.S. in any condition, running or not. Trucks - Why Some People Should Not Have a License to Drive One

Joseph Coupal - Thursday, April 05, 2018

I’m pretty sure most of us law abiding licensed drivers, if not all, have on more than one occasion watched a truck do things on the road and thought this is why some people shouldn’t have a license to drive anything; much less a big diesel truck or one jacked up on a lift kit. I know I’ve asked on many occasions, where is a cop when you need one? And, I just want to say… if you are one of these people, and you have an accident, you’re in luck because we buy damaged trucks so you can sell yours to us. We’ll even give you the highest instant cash offer you’ll find anywhere else. For sure.

In the video there is over 10 minutes of footage compiled of what I like to call idiot drivers, although, in some of these clips, it’s just plain bad luck due to uncontrollable conditions; albeit inclement weather or other forces of nature, or from not being able to act quick enough to even less time to react to a situation. Some are funny, some are “oh no!”, and some are wow, what a jerk move there fella you could have killed somebody! Like I said, though, if you’re a wild driver and have a crash, you can sell your trucko us. Just give us a call and tell us, “Buy my damaged Truck!” Then, please, tell us about your crazy driving that connected us.

I have to admit, it’s nice to see I’m not the only one who thinks some people should not have a license to drive a truck, or anything for that matter; not even a lawn mower – yes I know, you don’t need a license for that. Some of these people are crazy, rude, and inconsiderate for the safety of others – It just boggles the mind – and some just made a mistake that could have been costly. Who knows? Maybe one of these drivers is already a customer! After all, we buy trucks fast, safe, and easy anywhere in the Continental U.S. running or not. Don’t believe we buy damaged trucks? Then we’ll prove it! Fill out our short for in just a quick 2-step process, and we’ll prove we give you the highest instant cash offer in as little as 20-seconds, and we’ll have cash in your bank FAST! C’mon!Sell your truck today!

Think KBB® Is Reliable, Accurate and Gives You the Highest Instant Cash Offer On Your Truck? Think Again.

Joseph Coupal - Wednesday, April 04, 2018

TruckBuyerUSA.com asks, are KBB®‘s instant cash offers reliable and accurate? Do they give you the current market’s highest value? If you think they do, then think again. The first thing you need to know about Kelly Blue Book®’s “current prices” is they aren’t current market values at all. There is a huge misconception they “set vehicle prices” as the standard for all to go by, and when you want to sell your truck and you use their pricing system on their website, you are getting value results that are days old; not today’s current market value. What KBB® does is follow the money trail; they’re not setting the standard. When we buy trucks, we stick to the truth and show you your truck worth at today’s value.

Just how do they do this? By using supply and demand when tracking truck prices where the normal practice for is being to being days behind. It takes days for their system to collect, organize, and publish their pricing lists. All that advertising about being the most reliable and accurate is just not true, and they have consumers believing they are!

Then there’s their sister company, Autotrader®. Guess what, they use the SAME information and process pulling from KBB®‘s databases! How’s that for insane! No worries though! We beat Kelly Blue Book®’s out dated prices and give you an instant cash offer for your truck that is current market value – wait, higher than current market value – that’s accurate and reliable!

KBB® has boasted for many, many years, they are “The Trusted Resource®” when you want to sell your truck. This begs the question, if they’re a few days behind today’s current market value, and they’ve been telling everyone they have the most current pricing, how can they be trusted when they start off misinforming Americans? How on earth is anyone supposed to trust them?

You Want Today’s Highest Instant Cash Offer!

NOT a Fake Offer!

Be smarter America! Don’t be duped by KBB®! Go for the gusto! Deal with the pros at TruckBuyerUSA.com and find out what your truck value is today! We won’t tell you what your truck worth was three days ago, we’ll be honest with you.

If you think KBB® is reliable, accurate, and gives you the highest instant cash offer you can get on your truck, think again. Truck Buyer USA’s patent ending formula does that for you in our 2-step process and in as little as 20-seconds you see your truck value! So don’t wait! Get your FAST, SAFE, and EASY offer now! We will NOT BE BEAT by anyone! We buy trucks, 2006 and up, in any condition, whether they’re running or not and WE GIVE YOU THE HIGHEST INSTANT CASH OFFER! Sunday In Arizona – Uber Autonomous Fatal Pedestrian Car Crash – Will a Self-Driving Tractor-Trailer Be Next?

Joseph Coupal - Tuesday, March 20, 2018

1st – At TruckUSA.com you get a FAST instant cash offer, we buy trucks, and our sole purpose is for you to sell your truck to us. All opinions are my own (writer) and do not in any way reflect TruckBuyerUSA.com’s opinions or views. I just brought this up on the blog last week. That dreaded pit in your stomach, devastating nightmare came to fruition. No, it didn’t involve an autonomous truck, nor was there a hack – that I know of since this is still under investigation by authorities, but non-the-less, this is a tragedy that anyone could have predicted and possibly prevented. On Sunday, in Arizona, an Uber autonomous fatal pedestrian involved car crash occurred in the night. Will a self-driving tractor-trailer be next?

In Tempe, Arizona, a routine Uber autonomous car test drive - turned to everyone’s nightmare. Uber routinely tests their self-driving cars after dark to observe the response of their vehicles in more challenged environments. Of course, a safety ride-along operator was at the wheel hands free monitoring the cars operation. So, what happened? What was the “monitor” monitoring? Why didn’t the car’s sensors – assuming it has these – sense a person, object, motion, etc. in its path and react accordingly and safely? What are the setting indicators of said objects? How much time did the vehicle and the “monitor guy” have to react before the car crash? Would there be the same results in a big box truck? Would there have been a truck crash? You know an autonomous truck is no joke and the damage it could do is unthinkable. I can’t imagine an autonomous tractor-trailer’s destruction and devastation. Did it turn a corner and it all happened faster than anyone or the autonomous car could respond as required and expected? These are just a handful of questions I have, there are so many more.

Autonomous developers, manufactures, and testers, this is a big fail at its worst. This should have been avoided at all costs, and not have happened. I shouldn’t be sitting here writing about a pedestrian being struck while crossing the street and dying on the way to the hospital. I should only be focused on your technological successes, not tragedies related – yes, tragedies because this is the 3rd reported death involving autonomous vehicles. All of us send our deepest sympathy to the victim’s family and friends. We are very sorry for this tragedy and your loss.

Uber is fully cooperating in the investigation by the Tempe, Arizona police, and the mayor is diligently looking into the accident combing through city and state regulations. Arizona seems to be company’s favorable state for their lenient laws and rules when it comes to experimenting and testing technology, according to a recent Bloomberg interview.

In Tesla’s Florida crash, the car was purchased by and used by the victim. In the Arizona crash, the vehicle was a test vehicle under the control in every sense by Uber, and the victim was an ordinary person.”

~Bryant Walker Smith, Professor, USC School of Law

When asked if Arizona’s fatal crash will shake the public’s confidence in autonomous technology and set its progress to date back, Smith went on to say,

"It will set consumer confidence in the technology back years if not decades," said Jason Levine, executive director of the Center for Auto Safety, a Washington-based advocacy group. "We need to slow down."

What do I think about autonomous vehicles, especially a tractor-trailer on the road? I’m still on the fence and do not want to be involved in a truck crash that supposedly wouldn’t happen. I NEED to see the facts of compulsive off-road testing in a strictly controlled environment. Dig through accident report, test the “that’ll never happens”, schedule it in the worst climatic conditions, test each during the day and at night, during rush hour, during quiet times, in fabricated neighborhoods with unexpected objects forced in the path of the vehicles, and any other scenario you can think of. Then, maybe just then, test it on the roads.

Note: TruckBuyerUSA.com did NOT provide me with direction or information, nor did they request I write a post on my views.

Directly from Tesla’s website:

Safest Truck Ever

Enhanced Autopilot helps avoid collisions, a centered driver position provides maximum visibility and control, and a low center of gravity offers rollover protection.”

That’s a very bold statement. If you’d like to see their technology advances on wheels, go check them out and read about them. I will say this, it’s impressive.

If I lived in Arizona and I saw an autonomous truck or car anywhere near me, I’d probably freeze out of fear. I’d be afraid I’d be the one to prove “it’s safer than a truck driven by a hands on the wheel driver” wrong, but can you blame me after Sunday in Arizona? Uber, your autonomous fatal pedestrian car crash has me so much more fearful of this technology than last week. I never want the answer to “will a self-driving tractor-trailer be next?” I’d rather sell my truck to Truck Buyer USA, order everything I need online, and have it delivered right to my front door. Which reminds me, when you’re thinking you could use extra cash or just want to get rid of your truck, we buy trucks in any condition – even if it’s been in a truck crash – anywhere in the continental United States, running or not. If “sell my truck” crosses your mind, sell your truck to us! Our process is FAST, SAFE, and EASY! We’ll give you the highest instant cash offer you’ll find anywhere else on the web and you’ll get it in as little as 20-seconds! We don’t mess around! Fill out our short 2-step process and get cash in your bank FAST!

Uber Trucks Are Shuttling Goods Across the State of Arizona – No Driver Required

Joseph Coupal - Sunday, March 11, 2018

What truck news is a buzz right now? That would be Uber trucks; they’re shuttling goods across the state of Arizona with no driver at the wheel. That’s right, a driver is not required and you won’t find one holding steady at 10 and 2 o’clock! How’s that for technological advances? And, is there an app for that? Who knows? Maybe one day Truck Buyer USA will be sending an autonomous tow truck when you sell your truck to us!

In Uber’s existing program, a trucker at Arizona’s state border, who then rides along in the driver ’s seat across the state but only to monitor the autonomous trip; not to drive it, meets a self-driving truck. Once the truck has reached its destination, the load is handed off to a conventional trucker who then delivers the haul to its final destination.

Ok, I’m not even going to go into all the things that could go wrong when – notice the word when – this is common practice in the transport business, but I will say this. What is going to happen if a hacker hacks into the computer system? A semi is not something I’d want to have an encounter with. Just sayin’.

However, there are some good things to note here.

First, drivers are only allowed to clock so many hours of straight driving. If technology continues and any kinks in the system are worked out so tight this is a safe practice, then truckers can sleep while the truck rolls on down the road. This brings me to my next note.

Second, time is money for a trucker, so regardless they’ll get their road hours in and continue to collect payment as normal… for now. Speaking of time, a truck will reach its destination sooner than the conventional process – stopping at a truck stop to sleep. This means more business for the trucking company, and the trucker for that matter, because being able to safely deliver goods at a faster rate will definitely increase business. That’s a no brainer.

We’re not in the transporting for long-hauls, but we do buy trucks and you can sell your truck to us without ever leaving your couch. This new technology may not be in our near future, but we buy trucks, any truck, in any condition anywhere in the continental United States. Uber’s new program may not seem the safest now, but we’ve all watched science fiction and we’ve seen what’s coming. In the meantime, we’ll leave it to Uber to shuttle goods across the state of Arizona with their fancy shmancy technology, and we’ll continue to send a tow truck driver to pick up your truck with a human driving it. We prefer to keep it 100% SAFE, FAST, and EASY! You won’t see a self-driving truck take your car away fast, but you will get a high instant cash offer and have cash in your bank fast. How’s that for truck news technology? Get started now and sell your truck! Just fill out our short form – it’s an easy 2-step process – and one of our live agents will be in touch soon!

NYS Thruway & Other Highways Ban Tractor-Trailers, Buses & Box Trucks During Storms

Joseph Coupal - Wednesday, March 07, 2018

As of 8:30 a.m. this morning, Wednesday, the New York State, I-90, Thruway just got safer for New York and other northern commuters during storms. I-90 – exit 36, Syracuse – all the way down to the New York City line has banned tractor-trailers, box trucks, buses, and other big vehicles from using them during winter storm warnings. This is a big win for commuters and an obviously big blog to companies that depend on high-profile vehicles for their business.

Officials stated drivers who violate the ban could be ticketed. My question is, what if they are unexpectedly caught in a storm? Do they pull over into the emergency lane and wait it out? Are they allowed to drive to the nearest exit having a truck stop? I’m sure there are caveats in place; if not and they’re expected to pull over and ride it out the inherent dangers for the drivers are high risk ones. Getting plowed in and stuck in the middle of nowhere will be the least of their worries.

Truck Buyer USA goes anywhere in the Continental United States and we buy trucks for top dollar, even sparsely populated places like upstate New York. So, we’ve seen the havoc a winter storm pelts residents with and we definitely wouldn’t want to be forced to pull over and ride out a storm. But if you’re caught in a snow storm and want to sell your truck, you’re in luck! We give you an unbeatable instant cash offer and we’ve got you covered!

On a personal note, I have first-hand experience driving in upstate NY winter storms and let me tell ya’, it is NOT fun and can be downright scary more often than not. My scariest moment was traveling on I-88, deep snow covered the road and when I saw the semi coming up behind me and the railroad underpass ahead of me, I knew right then it was going to be bad. Big trucks like that can travel at a pretty fast speed because of their weight and truth be told, I’ve used that to my advantage on many occasions… they clear the path! But this day? This day there was no chance to ride the big trucks coat tails and get home faster. This day he went flying by me in the fast lane with that underpass literally about 100 feet away. Ever heard of a white out? It’s as if someone has thrown a thick white tarp over your windshield and you can see NOTHING but a blanket of white. I literally didn’t know if I would hit the wall or coast (and I do mean coast because my foot was not the gas or brake pedal!) right on through. Luckily the coast was clear.

Roadways Banning Large Vehicles

  • I-90 from Syracuse (Exit 36) to the New York City line -- including Berkshire Spur to the Massachusetts State Line, Interstate 95, the Garden State Parkway Connector and Interstate 287
  • I-88 from Binghamton to Albany
  • I-81 – Pennsylvania state line to the NYS Thruway
  • Route 17 – Binghamton to Interstate 84
  • I-84 from the Connecticut state line to the Pennsylvania state line
  • I-684 from I-84 to I-287

TruckBuyerUSA.com won’t let winter storm warnings get in the way when you want to sell your truck. Even if you own a damaged truck, we’ll still come to you and give you the highest cash payout you’ll get anywhere else for it. Use our 2-step process for your 20-second instant cash offer and then one of our agents will be in touch. We buy trucks FAST, SAFE, and EASY and you can stay by the fireplace through the entire process sipping that hot chocolate to do it! Well, you will need to answer the door so we can get the keys and the title, but it’s that easy!

2018 Best Resale List – Trucks and A Rally Car

Joseph Coupal - Monday, March 05, 2018

What should go into factoring the cost of a truck? The sale price is only a fraction of the equation and the resale value needs to go into the mix so you get the most money when you go to sell your truck. We’ve all been told for years trucks hold their value better than cars, but some’s value drops faster than others. What’s the buzz on 2018’s best resale list? It’s all about trucks and a rally car.

Minimizing vehicle depreciation may not always be at the forefront of your mind when buying a new truck or SUV, but everyone wants the loss of value rate to be low. We’re sure it will come as no surprise that Toyota 4x4s top off the as the best bet. If you’ve shopped for a used Tundra, Tacoma, or 4Runner then you know the resale values are strong and can be pricey. This is a good time to mention, we buy trucks at top value offering you the highest resale value and we beat KBB®’s numbers. Get an instant cash offer from us in as little as 20-seconds!

There you have it, the top 10 2018 best resale list! The trucks and a rally car take the lead. It’s odd that Kelly Blue Book® has the 2018 Toyota Tundra beating out the 2018 Toyota 4Runner. Not sure what the reasoning is, but, KBB® is always a few days behind on the used car and truck values. So it comes as no surprise the 2nd and 3rd place would come out a little wonky. It takes days for their data banks to trickle down the information they enter on resale values. That means those “current number values of the day” were current days ago. Not today. If you want to know what the real current value of your truck is today, then ask us. Get an instant cash offer FAST, SAFE, and EASY RIGHT NOW and sell your truck to us! In as little as 20-seconds! We buy trucks and we guarantee our offer for your truck WILL BE AT THE CURRENT MARKET RESALE VALUE and WE PAY YOU MORE!
