Ford Will Stop Selling All But Two Cars In the US – Focus Is On Trucks & SUVs

It’s all about sweet profits, we know because we’re experts on it. We buy trucks every day to make a profit and our customers know they can sell their truck fast for big bucks in the bank! You can sell your truck quick to us too and get hard cold cash in the bank fast! Unfortunately, for Ford and their customers, over the next four years their lineup of cars, and overall models inventory, will be sparse when looking for a sedan or hatchback. The big plan in Dearborn is to eliminate a bunch of their models – Fiesta, Fusion, Taurus, C-Max, and Focus. The bottom line is Ford will stop selling all but two of their cars in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico instead turning their focus on the higher profiting crossovers, Trucks and SUVs. This means the majority of the Brand’s sedans, where per The New York Times Ford is losing money, will be eliminated while continuing to produce and sell the all-new Ford Focus Active (coming out next year) and the Mustang.

After Ford’s Q1 financial report came out, they came up with a new strategy where they are committed to new propulsion choices. They’ll be adding hybrid-electric powertrains to their more profitable vehicles like the Explorer, Mustang, F-150, and the Bronco. In 2020 Ford will start to roll out its battery electric automobiles and plan to offer 16 battery-electric models by the year 2022.

“We are committed to taking the appropriate actions to drive profitable growth and maximize the returns of our business over the long term,”

“Where we can raise the returns of underperforming parts of our business by making them more fit, we will. If appropriate returns are not on the horizon, we will shift that capital to where we can play and win.”

~Jim Hackett, President and CEO

Even though Ford is taking such a drastic measure to revamp its products offered, this doesn’t mean they’ll be putting a halt to innovation and new vehicles. They plan to explore what they’re calling “white space” silhouette vehicles – vehicles with the best attributes of utility vehicles and cars combined.

What to look for moving forward from Ford? By 2020, almost 90% of its North American portfolio will be commercial vehicles, utilities, and trucks. We predict major markdown savings on Ford cars over the next couple of years. So if you’re thinking you’d like to purchase one of the aforementioned and you’re strapped for the cash or you’ve been checking what your truck worth is and just don’t like what you see, then sell your truck quick to us! We buy trucks at the highest value anywhere and we’ll give you an instant cash offer FAST, SAFE, and EASY!  What’s even better?
